Nandamuri hero Kalyan Ram, who has been struggling for a hit since a long time is coming-up film ‘Om.’  This is first of its kind action film made in 3D format in the country using high end technology. Krithi Karbanda and Nikisha Patel have played female leads in this movie. This film is directed by Suneel Reddy and made under NTR Arts banner.
This film recently was cleared by Censor Board with U/A certificate. According inputs the films escapes censor with very minor cuts. This film is likely to release on June 28^th. Music is given by Achchu.

Director Puri Jagannath, who recently apologized for passing rude remarks against Pawan Kalyan in his latest movie “Iddaramayilatho” has dropped another bomb on his fans through his tweeter message.
‘Puri tweets:” I am not in happy space with Pawan Kalyan. I may not direct him again-I am not in talking terms with him.”
Probably differences between them has developed after their ‘Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu’ that bombed at box office. Pawan Kalyan, who badly needed a hit was quite upset with the failure of their film. However, he has never mentioned about their differences to anyone until now. Probably his silence has made Puri spell his mind.

Several comedians like Brahmanandam, Venu Madhav, AVS, and Bhagavan etc have come-up with their individual films playing the lead roles, but none of them achieved success. But, Ali and Sunil only are able to achieve success as heroes. Ali, who once delivered super hit movies like Yamaleela, Pittala Dora, Gatotkachudu, Hangama etc is again playing a lead role in ‘Ali baba Okkade Donga,’ movie to be directed by Phani Prakash.
Need not to say this film carries Ali mark comedy through out the film. It is about a youngster who comes to city dreaming to become S.I. but unfortunately becomes a thief. A new heroine will be introduced beside Ali in this film. Tanikella Bharani, Duvvasi Mohan, Raghu babu, Kondavalasa, Jeeva, Shafi, Lakshmana rao, Dasanna, Prudvi, Rama Raju, Chandrasekhar and some others will be acting in this movie. Regular shooting of the film will commence from June 18^th at Hyderabad and continues for 10 days there itself, said the producer B.Shivaji.

Mega heroes Failed to Reach Expectations:

There were times when majority of films played by Mega Star Chiranjeevi is used to celebrate 100 days functions, while showering profits to the producers and buyers. Often they were tagged as block busters not because of its collections but for its success in all aspects. Even, his last pictures like Indra, Shankar Dada MBBS, Tagore etc have earned applauds as well as showers profits to producers for their quality content and of course Mega Star’s performance. He did all sorts of films like Apandbandhavudu, Swayam Krushi, Daddy etc which have nod from the all classes of audiences. He set the bar at such a level that none of his successors including Ram Charan Tej and Allu Arjun could cross it.
The two mega heroes Ram Charan Tej, Allu Arjun might have broke his records in terms of collections but are not able to cross the bar set by the Mega Star until now. But, undoubtedly the mega heroes films have edge over the Mega Star films in terms of collections, probably as a result of simultaneous release in hundreds of theaters or more than 1200-1500 screens at a time. The success of their films are now solely gauged with the collections and not with the number of days they successfully runs in theaters or for its content or any other aspects of their films. The same yard stick can be used for the other top heroes like Mahesh babu, Jr.NTR and so on.
For example Allu Arjun’s latest film “Iddaramayilatho’ is pocketing enough amount to keep the producer afloat despite receiving a divided talk, because it was simulteneously released in hundreds of theaters. Probably, it may even create a new record in terms of collections but lacks the enthusiasm often seen in Mega Star’s films.

It is quite unusually to see Tollywood hot girl Shriya Saran returning with a heroine oriented film ‘Pavitra,’ rather than coming with a big hero to ensure success. However, she is quite successfully handled the film. the writer turned director Janardhan Maharshi, who took an odd story has nicely managed it without falling in confusion.
What is pavitra All About ? 
Pavithra (Shirya) in an unfortunate situation becomes a prostitute. She absorbed into that profession for the sake of her trust that extends help in bailing out those poor girls struck in the profession. Shiva (Shivaji) is a professional photographer. He lures the innocent girls, indulge in sexual acts and then blackmails them for money. Pavitra rescues an innocent girl, who fall prey to (Shivaji) and retrieves money from Shivaji. She also rescues other girls, who were blackmailed by him and succeeds in sending Shiva to jail.
Abhi (Kaushik) fall in love with Pavitra. His father a greedy MLA (Sai Kumar) nods for their marriage but plans to kill them to gain some political advantage. How Pavitra foils his conspiracy and get elected to the assembly forms rest of the story.
Artists Performances :
Shriya did a splendid job in this film. She shows a great ease in doing prostitute role and completely justified her role in the film. She has been projected from a totally different angle in this film. She looks terrific in her modern attire as well as in the sari. Shivaji, who played a negative role has delivered his best in the movie. Sai Kumar also did a good job. Brahmanandam and Ravi Babu’s talents left untapped in this movie. Tanikella Bharani, Yandamuri up to their mark but has no significance in the film.
Technical Aspects:
Though, the director Janardhan Maharshi took an unusual story for a come back after his ‘Devasthanam’ movie, he made it to near perfection. He narrates the story in a simple and effective manner without getting confused at any point. Since he is basically a story writer, he penned very crispy dialogues. Whatever the minor flaws seen in the film were well managed with gripping screen play. However, some more work in editing room would have made the film more crispy. Music by Sri Lekha is apt and enhance the mood of the story.
Final word:
When, it was declared that Tollywood hot girl Shriya is doing prostitute role in this movie, the general belief of the pubic is that it is decorated with her hot skin shows and some vulgar content. But, surprisingly Janardhan Maharshi has made it in a quite decent style instead of trying to tap the sexual and vulgar angle of the story. However, the film makers ignorance to campaign about this point may keep the general audiences, especially family audiences keep away from the movie.

Shruti Haasan back to Ramayya Vastavayya sets:

Multifaceted beauty Shruti Haasan, who has wrapped up the shooting schedules of the film Balupu has joined back the sets of Ramayya Vastavayya.

NTR and Samantha are playing the leads in Ramayya Vastavayya while Shruti Haasan is playing an important role. The current schedule’s shoot of Ramayya Vastavayya is being shot in Bangalore area. Action sequences of the film are recently shot on the lead actors in the supervision of Ram Lakshman masters.

Harish Shankar is wielding the megaphone for he film and Dil Raju is producing Ramayya Vastavayya on the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations banner. The commercial mass entertainer will hit the screens in September month.
